Hey, I’m Matias, founder of NERD GATE Media.

I started this project to shine a light on the creative people, businesses, and communities bringing life to North Carolina.

I’ve been making media in some form for most of my life (music, videos, photography) and I’m obsessed with capturing the energy of local scenes and turning it into something people can connect with.

NERD GATE Media is my way of blending that lifelong love for creativity into something bigger: a platform that tells real stories, celebrates local talent, and builds community through content.
